We rely on dedicated individuals who are passionate about helping homeless animals in need. As a West End Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to provide shelter pets the love they need and contribute to their chance at forever.

Program Basics

• Anyone age 18 or older is welcome to apply to become a West End Volunteer.
• Must be able to commit to 8 hours a month.
• At orientation, you’ll be given a name badge. Badges may be replaced at no charge in the front office.
• Must wear protective clothing (e.g. pants, closed toe shoes).

1. Submit a Volunteer Application
Complete an application online or request a paper copy.

2. Attend Orientation
Once your application is approved, attend the mandatory orientation held on the last Saturday of each month.

After orientation, you’re officially ready to volunteer.
